Had another good day on the water. Sunrise was great and the weather cooporated with no wind and no rain but was a bit on the chilly side.

Took out 4 other guys and did more crabbing than fishing. Trolled at Lyle Pt during the morning slack without a bite. In two sets we were able to get our 25 crabs. Brought the propane heater and was well worth the deck space. Thought about chasing some chums around but decided with how cold it was to head in and watch the husky game. Too bad on ...

I had an invite to fish with board member DEANO in the SNO-KING PSA Member's Only Blackmouth Derby.. Despite the constant pounding of swells and wind chop, we managed to catch fish all day long.

I didn't hear the final results, but second place was over 10#.. A lot of fish caught. In fact some 77-fish were reported at the ramp.

Dean and I both fished spoons all day. Some behind flasher others behind a "plug flasher."

Acid Bath, Kitchen Sink, White Lightning, and Jailbait ...

It was a great day! Headed out with South Sounder and his dad. Started at Green and worked our way around the island. Nailed all the fish, but one at Green- one shaker came from Gibson.

A lot of borderline shakers at 21" to 21 3/4" Hot spoon was the Acid Bath trolled down along the bottom in 100-feet plus. Two are already for the BBQ!

Fished the west side of the Posession Bar this morning. Caught a nice blackmouth and waved goodbye. Nothing other than shakers. Had a nice chum follow my cut plug to the boat just outside of the fish haven right up on the bar, but he saw the boat and spooked. Marked a lot of fish on the bar in 75-80' of water suspended but no takers.

I'm new at winter blackmouth fishing and would like to try Green pt. fox Island. i'm coming from the belfair area and would like to launch from the key peninsula side or even the horsehead bay side but can't find much. i have a 17' aluminum boat. most ramps don't have any parking. i'd rather not drive all the way to gig harbor and then run back. thanks, if any one can help.

Had another great Sunday on the water. Got our crab limit with some really nice sized ones and picked up a just legal blackmouth off Lyle Pt trolling along the bottom in about 120 feet of water on the acid bath spoon. Let go one just under the mark and had one shaker at green point on our way in. Saw lots of a boats at Green Pt today. Anybody else have any luck at Green in the AM? We got there well after the tide change.

What a great morning to be on the water! A little foggy, but unseasonable warm for November. We ran into a few issues right off the bat, but we''ll keep one of them mum Not to mention I couldn't get the camera functioning several times, and by the looks of the pictures a little moisture too

First ran across Sonny... (this is when I noticed the camera errors... Sorry I couldn't get you on film Sonny today.)

Saw 5-6 silvers jumping down towards Minter. No Natives wow I couldn't believe it !! Most of the cutts were caught in 2-4 ft of water. I gave a 4 horse Merc to my buddy and he got it repaired and we took it out and trolled from Purdy all the way down to Minter while we casted. I'm surprised all the ...

Fished from the Olalla Bridge on the out going tide with two others, Frank and Steve. No hookups but there were a few Silvers and Chums running in and out of the lagoon.

Really interesting tidal movement there. About 2/3 through the edd the water stopped, started back, stopped then really started flowing out fast. This happened several times and the fish really responded to the fast moving water, with several small schools passing through. Frank had two hits but no hookups. According ...

Wow, after reading those marginal reports it pains me to write mine, as I was only a few miles away. My 7 year old son and I fished north of the shipwreck, trolling north to south and picking up gear at the ship or a little south. We fished from 7-11am, and went 4 for 7. Lost 3 nice fish to our furry friends. Ended the morning with limits, a 7,9,11,and a 14 pounder. Didn't see too many other fish caught. We were lonely as the other boats seemed to like it inside, but we were quite content ...

Caught two decent sized silvers on Sunday morning between the Shipwreck and Picnic Point in about 500-600 foot of water around 9 to 10:30 a.m. Caught the first one at 65 feet and the second at 80 feet using a green squid and flasher. first was 9.5 lbs. and the 2nd was 10.8 pounds. Turned out to be a nice morning too after the Saturday blow. Not very many boats out, so I was pleasantly surprised to get a limit.

Hello,

Taking some of the in laws out fishing this Saturday who don't really know anything about salmon fishing but I would like for them to feel something at the end of the line. I don't care if it's hooking chum salmon. Anyways, I'll be launching out of Pt Defiance. Looking for suggestions on where to concentrate my efforts - gig harbor shoreline (chums, black mouth), slag pile (black mouth), pt dalco? Any silvers still being caught out in rips in open water? Appreciate it.
