There's some really good ones out there.

I had a fishing hat that I wore everytime I went. Despite months of foul smelling Smelly Jelly build up, that hat caught fish! One day I mistakenly left it on the washing machine and the NOW ex-wife washed it.... Oh boy did I come unglued! I tried unsuccessfully, many times, to get the mojo back into that hat. Never did come. Threw it away!

So... what are some of your superstitions?

I sure am getting tired of not fishing cause of the wind waves!!! I have a 19' aluminum that will beat you up in 3' or better wind waves. Will a larger say 23' be able to fish that weather without a 2 week recoup period? I have never fished in anything larger than a 20' on the sound. I am willing to move up in size only if there is a nice difference.By the way,I have pretty bad joints that get real tender. Any knowledge on this subject would be helpful.(on the boat size i mean)thanks cliff

Being a gear whore, I love to try and dissect as much information about products I have. I want to know how you folks on the board go about doing your own reel repair and maintenance. I have two Penn 310 GTI reels, one Penn 209M reel and two Okuma Classic Pro 302 reels. I purchased these (on ebay) under the assumption that they would be dependable reels for a part time recreational ...

I am not the biggest fan of seals, but if it was intentionally killed because ...
