Excellent idea however, less than 5-percent are inactive (meaning haven't logged in within the last 30-days). Additionally, folks can view the forum without logging in... Some can't log in while at work, etc. How about vacations?

The idea of a monthly prize is what draws a lot of folks into the forum. Plus I have to keep the drawing is as fair as possible to all who signed up. As more people sign up it will eventually make the drawing much easier to find a winner... The other thing to keep in mind... the prizes are getting bigger and better each month. Are you sure you want to win right away?

Now, think about how NASCARRICH might have felt... He signed in right after I drew another name!

I am toying with other ideas to keep the fun alive... Perhaps the best joke of the month? Best tip of the month? Funniest story, photo contests, etc...

Lastly, keep in mind the forum is relatvely new. We're just getting started and most anglers already have the boat winterized and are more interested in hunting or watching the Chicken Hawks lose (again).

I have a position open for a leader tier if you have 3-hours a day to spare... I could always use more fishing in my life! Very Happy

haha. John, I would love to help you out after my med school aplications are in and done. But seriously, I wouldnt mind a leader tying tutorial! I am sure all of us would love it.

I tie all my own leaders. Had to teach myself years ago. Don't like spending $ on pretied leaders when i can do it myself.
